I understand that Tom is a part of all of our lives, and that we all think he’s an amazing person. But I think that some are forgetting that he is a PERSON. I heard through the grapevine today that Tom (as well as other members of the cast and crew) are choosing to stay in their rooms because of the fans that have been flocking around his hotel in Detroit. 

Enough is enough. Tom is an actor, yes. And to some extent, he has certainly come to expect that he will be signing autographs and meeting-and-greeting with fans. But please, guys. When he is afraid to leave his room because he doesn’t want to be mobbed by fans, and when people are spending HOURS in the hotel he’s staying, just sitting there, that is incredibly disrespectful. He is a person. Please treat him as such. Show some respect for his personal space.

Nope, don’t give a shit if I lose some followers. I care more about his sense of security than your desire to to have his signature.
